 What Is a Paralegal? 

Paralegals work directly under the supervision of an attorney and assist in the delivery of legal services. They are not lawyers and cannot give legal advice to consumers. Most commonly, a paralegal's task is to help lawyers prepare for trials, hearings, and corporate meetings. At Andover College, we can prepare you with the knowledge of the legal system and legal procedures you need to be successful in this exciting profession.

 Legal Studies Certificate Program 

This program is open to individuals with an associate's degree or higher or to individuals with at least three years' experience working in a legal setting. At Andover College, you will learn about general legal concepts and procedures through 12 legal core courses. You'll also have the opportunity to learn basic and advanced legal researching, making use of traditional legal research tools.

Upon completion of the program, you will receive a certificate from Andover College. With this certificate, you can search for employment in various areas of law in government offices, law firms, and legal departments.
